For almost two decades, Slovenian DJ and producer MikeVale has built an international reputation for creating timeless, groove-driven house music that stands the test of time. Known for his signature blend of house, tech house and soulful influences, he has earned the respect of DJs, labels and dancefloors around the world through a consistent output of high-quality, club-focused records.
Over the years, Mike has released music on some of the world’s most respected dance labels, including Toolroom, Armada Music, Strictly Rhythm, Relief, Nervous Records, CR2, Stealth Records, Great Stuff and many more. His productions have earned multiple Beatport chart-toppers, including several #1 House and #1 Tech House releases, as well as an overall Beatport #1. He has also been recognised among Beatport’s best-selling House and Tech House artists, further cementing his reputation as one of the genre’s most consistent producers. His music has been supported by many of the world’s leading DJs for well over a decade, becoming a regular feature in clubs, festivals and radio shows around the globe.
His breakout release, “Pretty Woman”, became a modern tech-house classic after receiving early support from Carl Cox and Marco Carola, helping launch his international career and introducing his music to dancefloors around the world. Since then, Mike has collaborated with Grammy Award winner Roger Sanchez and earned continued support from artists including Mark Knight, Jamie Jones, Hot Since 82, Fisher, Chris Lake, Claptone, Fatboy Slim, Umek and many others.
As a DJ, Mike has performed at some of electronic music’s most iconic clubs and festivals, including Carl Cox’s Revolution at Space Ibiza, Ministry of Sound London, Ultra Europe and Vision Tokyo, performing alongside many of the biggest names in house and techno while building a reputation for energetic, groove-led DJ sets.
Growing up surrounded by his father’s vinyl collection, Mike developed an early appreciation for rhythm, soul and musicality—elements that continue to define his productions today. Whether producing original records, remixes or performing behind the decks, his focus has always remained the same: creating authentic house music with lasting appeal rather than chasing short-lived trends.
Following the global pandemic, Mike deliberately stepped away from the relentless pace of the music industry to build a more balanced and sustainable life outside of it. That period gave him the freedom to rediscover why he fell in love with making music in the first place. Today, he spends almost every day in the studio, creating with complete creative freedom and a renewed sense of purpose.
